# Notes about milling pcb pi-interface-board_v1.0
**2024.11.17:**
- used 30 degree bit - worked well at first
- slightly milled screw due to accidential clerance around mounting screw (zone not connected) - fixed
- needed second pass due to tip getting shorter at the end and only scratching the copper
  - re-started at about 70% of gcode (worked)
- on front the gnd plane separation did not mill (see svg) -> increase gap or decrease offset


# notes about kicad export (general)
- dont tick "use gerber X2 format (recommended)" to prevent many unsupported warnings
- dont tick unnecessary plot xx options e.g. "plot footprint text" it might cause hangup
- if oval holes are present select "Use alternative drill mode" option in generate drill files menu
